Care

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY MOHAIR PRODUCTS?

Our throws will last a lifetime if cared for properly. Store in a cool, dry place and do not store in plastic as this can cause moisture build up. Do not hang your throw.

As we use a brushing technique to create their soft finish there will be loose fibres on your throw. One trick to remove excess fibres is putting it in a freezer bag and freeze for a few hours then give it a good shake.

WASHING THROWS

Throws seldom require cleaning unless there is a spill / stain. Dry cleaning is preferred but you can wash with a mild wool-friendly detergent in lukewarm water. Gently rub stained areas to remove marks. To dry, place on a flat surface and do not hang out to dry. Mohair dries quickly. DO NOT tumble dry.

WASHING SOCKS

Socks are machine-washable using a warm (or cold) cycle. Line dry. Do not dry clean. Socks do not need washing as frequently compared to cotton / synthetic socks due to their anti-bacterial, breathable properties.

From our farm, to your home.

Our family have been raisng Angora goats in South Africa since 1857.

We still run our family farm and produce our socks and throws using the art of weaving that we have been refining for more than 30 years.
